even though vettedudes car is slow, he is pretty complete when offering advise to the new people, and covers all the bases. I always have to go back and add things I forgot. His post generally very informative and he doesnt give a lot of bad advise. In academia I would say he stays in the middle of the road pretty well, and does not deviate outside the lines very often. There are a lot of great people on this board, some are better friends and offer great advise too. Its that extra step vettedude gives, even I dont. Im good for TURN YOUR LIGHTS DOWN!!!!! lol ;)

@vetteguy53081 is awesome and takes the time to look at my build thread...lol..

@Paul B is hilarious and I love learning about old school reefing....

@Randy Holmes-Farley is a wealth of knowledge about the all important reef chemistry.

@4FordFamily has always been friendly and has a cool touch helping others with fish selection etc.

I am sure I forgot many, my apologiesin advance.....to be honest IMO most of us deserve this award.....most everyone on R2R wants us all to succeed and to learn from each others mistakes. I don't belong to any other group but R2R, and there is a great bunch of people on here!!!!

@Vinman my reefing mentor and reason why I have my beautiful bubble coral.

@Jay Hemdal the only reason why I haven’t killed my fish in qt and his posts and well written protocols have given me the confidence to start my qt.

@Randy Holmes-Farley for always answering my chemistry questions no matter how noobish they are.

@vetteguy53081 for the consistent help given and encouragement when my ocd gets bad.

Lastly, myself for maintaining a kick a** reef and not f****** it up!

I voted for Dan_P for decorum and decisive experiments posted with no beef one way or another. He’s a graphing artist and examiner of reef trending. I’ve watched people try and wreck his scientific work for pages from the sidelines and he never falters. Dan should be a co mod in the chemistry forum.

Ive seen Ukiah’s posts this last year and did not know he was young until you posted that, going places agreed

he’s got a shoe-in ability to secure any marine biology degree he wants coming up. that’s amazing to see from your post, well done Ukiah the video and editing and content and the reef you keep behind you is +10 years ability beyond your age this is impressive

Resolving loss issues in the hobby is a real struggle

agreed on prior posts- Jay from the fish disease forum is a pioneer of fish retention technique, my top two picks are Jay and Dan.
