even though vettedudes car is slow, he is pretty complete when offering advise to the new people, and covers all the bases. I always have to go back and add things I forgot. His post generally very informative and he doesnt give a lot of bad advise. In academia I would say he stays in the middle of the road pretty well, and does not deviate outside the lines very often. There are a lot of great people on this board, some are better friends and offer great advise too. Its that extra step vettedude gives, even I dont. Im good for TURN YOUR LIGHTS DOWN!!!!! lol

@Randy Holmes-Farley is a wealth of knowledge about the all important reef chemistry.

@4FordFamily has always been friendly and has a cool touch helping others with fish selection etc.

I am sure I forgot many, my apologiesin advance.....to be honest IMO most of us deserve this award.....most everyone on R2R wants us all to succeed and to learn from each others mistakes. I don't belong to any other group but R2R, and there is a great bunch of people on here!!!!

I voted for Dan_P for decorum and decisive experiments posted with no beef one way or another. He’s a graphing artist and examiner of reef trending. I’ve watched people try and wreck his scientific work for pages from the sidelines and he never falters. Dan should be a co mod in the chemistry forum.
