Another addition today:

I changed the rock-work to give me more room from front to back and lower area to place coral:

Here are the settings for the lights currently:

Am I alone in wishing that a setting of 1% actually equated to 1% of the total possible light output. It seems like 1% is more like 5-10% to my eye anyways.
No you are correct. I have been talking with @noopsyche to add more times during the day as we only have 7;Muted. They said that it would make the controller to complicated and I am like NO WAY it has to be done!!!!;Rage
I think that we should have at least 15 different setting per day and it is my understanding many others want to see this happen but we must speak out to get @noopsyche to change this.
It is okay to run these with 7 settings during the day but that is not adequate for some, as all the big guys offer many times during the day and so should the K7. It would be easy for them to do this if they tried:
@noopsyche I am telling you that we want more times during the day and IT WILL NOT make things more complicated!!

Nothing would be complicated is a matter of programming your chip and they will know better. A few adjustments in the menu of your LCD and ready
Although I am more worried about the ramps between orders

I was talking about intensity settings and you're ranting about time schedule settings. Haha, no worries. Rant away my friend. I for one would actually like less settings per day than seven. For example, the Aquamaxx Prism LED, which is re-badged Micmol Air, only has a few settings labeled sunrise, morning, afternoon, sunset, and dusk and you set the time blocks and intensities for those. I actually prefer less customization myself. So the current number of 7 is plenty for me.

I've got a Vipar Spectra over the tank now and that thing only has Ch 1 on and off and Ch2 on and off. Even better! lol I suppose there are those that like to fine tune and tinker and those that want to set and forget, I fall into the latter group. I've got two Noopsyches that just arrived by UPS today and I'm looking forward to setting them up when I get home from work. I'm interested to compare the visible spectrum of each and see which provides a more natural and appealing look for my taste. I'm actually quite liking the Vipar so I may end up ordering another Vipar and returning the Noopsyches. The Vipars are much cheaper, and like I said, easy on/off programming.

I am glad you got your lights as I love mine and I have really enjoyed getting these lights onto as many tanks as I can. Let me know what you think.

Wish I would have taken photos when I got them. In the month I have had them. I have gotten better color from these lights than I did with my radion. Seems like better polyp extension and my coralline is growing a lot faster as well.
What are your settings and go ahead and get us some pics of those coral :)

Thanks for the info and pics. Could you post up a full tank shot? Would be great to get better feeling for how lights look seeing full tank than focusing on single coral.
