Does anyone know what the size is on the screw that attaches the light to the light bracket. I’m talking about the x shaped bracket. I’m asking because I trying to make a custom light mount using T nuts.

I'm away now but I'll stop back later this afternoon and if no one has replied I'll get the info for you.
You need the size of the four screws that attach the x bracket to the light not the center hole that attaches the x bracket to a mount correct?

The 4 screws in the top of the light should be M3-0.5, I dont know the factory length though. I bought 4 longer screws and used washers to hang my lights from two properly spaced out t-slot rails.

If youre talking about the threaded hole in the center of the x bracket thing im fairly sure its a m4-0.7.
Also, im not sure how you plan on mounting these but if you hang the lights directly from that center screw of the x bracket without some kind of plate that the X bracket can pull up against, watch out for the plastic of the x bracket to break. I almost had a light fall into my tank because of the way I initially tried to mount mine.

Thanks for the heads up. I was wondering about that myself. I may try a after market 3d printed light mount.
As long as there is some plate for the bracket to pull up tight to then it should be fine. I tried just putting a long long screw in the middle of the x bracket with a washer so I could slide it into the rail of a t slot bar. The plastic around the threaded insert cracked within a day or so.
I talked to someone at Noopsyche who said they've never seen them crack before and we determined it was because of the unusual way I tried to mount them with the plastic unsupported and all of the weight hanging from that center screw.
