I was sold this as a Molly miller but doesn’t look like one to me. Any ideas? Large mouth and about 5-6”

I don’t think that’s a Molly miller, I have one that hitch hiked and he doesn’t look like that!
That is a Goby species however I can’t tell which one. Can you get a clearer photo?I was sold this as a Molly miller but doesn’t look like one to me. Any ideas? Large mouth and about 5-6”

Apparently they're a very common research species because they're very good at mapping coastline to not die during low tide! What an interesting little murderfishThat is a Frillfin Goby,Brachygobius soprator. I once brought a tiny one inch specimen back from Florida. When it got to about four inches, it ate every small fish in the tank. It got relocated to another tank and broke the jaw of an eel fighting over food. BEWARE!
I caught mine in about three inches of water and brought it back to NJ in an old soda bottle.Apparently they're a very common research species because they're very good at mapping coastline to not die during low tide! What an interesting little murderfish
Looks like an invasive goby called the round goby or marbled goby. Both are invasive species that eat a whole lot of foodBest I can get.
Hahaha yea it isI really like your updates and I’m sorry please don’t be offended but it’s the most unattractive fish I’ve seen in the hobby lol
