Thanks sabella! Looking forward to more confirmation.

Pretty sure I saw this little guy munching algae on the glass this morning and now I found him here and got a good picture of em.

If you 100% confirmed it was munching down lol! On an algae, then chances are its a win or benefit! Id say keep em!

It's an elysia, not a lettuce specifically, though.

Well, I assumed it was munching.....from its scale it looked more like a periodic convulsion emanating from its head!

It's an elysia, not a lettuce specifically, though.

Wow cool! So exciting! Hope the fact that it's a baby means there are more and they are doing well! Also very relieved I don't have something new to have to eradicate from my tank!

I'll try and post updates as the little one grows!

Oh yikes, okay folks, are we 100% sure these aren't an issue? I just noticed today that these little guys are actually EVERYWHERE!

Doesn't seem to be any issues with any of my corals or inverts though.

Is there any down side to having a large Elysia population?

Been finding a lot of mysterious new microcriters as of late. So far all seem to be benefitial....

They're not an issue unless you want a macro algae focused tank in the near future.
