I’m building this tank along side of my Red Sea Reefer 650 Peninsula as a nano display, frag and quarantine tank. I must say these Innovative Marine tanks are built quite nice! Both light and wave is being controlled by Neptune Apex that will also control my larger tank.

Thank you!

Heres a pic of the media caddy that came with tank.

This is perfect fit for 10oz of Zeolite media to use this caddy as a reactor. According to MightyJet instructions 9w gives you 197gph / two over flow returns gives you about 100gph on each.

still room for carbon above.

Sorry for late reply! Tank is going great, the design and layout was well thought out. I ended up with the IM Desktop skimmer as the AquaMaxx HOB 1.5 is quite big for the tank.

Tank is currently going through a slight brown algae (diatom?) bloom. According to some searches it may be the tail end of the tank cycle.

I bought another media caddy for the right side as there's one on each side to replace the filter sock. Left side contains Zeovit Zeolites and right contains carbon. All the controllers and temp gauge are mounted on one of those acrylic flyer stands with Velcro in place.

I wish Tunze would add seperators where the LED's are. Notice how Tunze 3155 seems like the water level i too high? Unless you look straight at it at eye level it will play tricks on you!

Sorry to bump an old thread but wondering how that Tunze 3155 fit in the back return chamber?

Also, what did you use to mount those controllers?
