Nuvo 10g AIO Floating Scape

Swung by the LFS and stumbled across this neat little AIO tank. Decided my office needed a slice of the ocean to compliment the home system

Here is day 1 of setup with the light mount made, sand added, fresh batch of saltwater, floating rock scape, and the upgraded return pump installed. Enjoy!

10g Nuvo AIO
Radion XR15Pro
DIY 8020 lightrack w/ swingarm for tank access
Sicce 1.5 return pump


Floating aquascape platform:
Old Tunze powered magnet mount
Black Egg crate
LFS cheapo rubble rock
LOTS of superglue and epoxy

Not entirely sure what the plan is for this one as I never intended for another tank!

I'll probably grab a bunch of acans, blastos, and hammers from my frag tank and just see how it goes. Maybe some birds nests and some leathers for the back?

As far as fish go I've got me eye on a pair of clowns at the LFS in town so probably grab those and a sandsifter goby to keep the sand clean

About a week in now and added a bunch of zoas, some acans, and a variety of sps! Still waiting for my filter lens to show up so better pics to come...

Update on this little tank!

Threw in some random zoas and acros floating around in my frag tank and allowing them to grow out into whatever they desire honestly.

Also added in a cleaner shrimp and a couple turbos to manage any potential algae sprouting up and provide some movement in the tank.

Water change of around 2 gallons per week and filter sock cleaning during waterchanges.

A JBJ nano ATO now takes care of the tank!

I don't test a thing on this tank and simply rely on my one picky green mushroom to let me know if anything is out of spec



Total build cost for this system (10g AIO NUVO tank, 50w heater,JBJ Nano ATO, SICCE 1.5 pump, Radion XR15Pro) is at $540 not including the freebie corals from the other system so definately my most budget conscious system!

I found a guy getting out of the hobby and bought a dozen g4 xr15pros from him for $200/ea. The rest of the stuff was new from the lfs!

@NotReefsafe need to get some new photos of the tank. Currently added a couple corals to quarantine for this tank including a bunch of random zoas (insanity, utter chaos,fairy farts,etc). Once those are added to the tank then more photos will show
