So I just barely setup my new 15 Cube from IM. I am wondering what y’all’s experience is with the pedestals from Innovative marine as I set the new tank upon it and it seems to really transfer vibrations and sounds like no other. Are these pretty safe compared to IM’s last series that apparently were causing the 16 and 24 to crack? I also noticed after moving to this second story apartment that when I get close my footsteps tend to ripple the water. I had placed it in the sturdiest area but can’t seem to eliminate All of the vibrations from going on in the house. I’ve only ever lived on concrete base floors and never experienced that before whether it’s the new base pedestal or my actual floor. But would this be seen as harmful to the aquarium seals and glass? Not sure I can do anything else really as I already have a rubber mat underneath the stand and the pedestal underneath the tank Itself.
