watch him to be sure he is pooping. He's not having any difficulty remaining upright or his chosen level in the tank right?

I've never seen any of my fish poop. Am trying to get him/them to take food soaked in the "Metro Cocktail", just in case, no one's taken it yet :( . He's acting totally normal.

It could be a gas bubble in his swim bladder, or possibly even an internal infection or growth of some kind...

Algae blennies don't have a swim bladder, so I don't think it's that.
