I have a sunburst w multiple tenticles on each tenticle has anyone ever seen this?

Maybe just a very strange birth defect or mutation?

That makes me wonder if it's offspring will look like it or back to 'normal' like the parents?

My guess is the off spring would keep the “split ends” so to say. Well over 90% of all the tentacles have the mutation.
