His bros and sis’s don’t have them like this maybe on one tenticle but not on as many as I have.

Maybe just a very strange birth defect or mutation?

That makes me wonder if it's offspring will look like it or back to 'normal' like the parents?

My guess is the off spring would keep the “split ends” so to say. Well over 90% of all the tentacles have the mutation.
