anyone know if it's possible to swap out some of the white leds from the hood of the jbj nanocube led lid for blue ones?

there's just too many white leds in the hood for my taste - would prefer to do a more 50/50 mix, or maybe even 75/25 mix. i've added a 15" blue reefbrite bar to the hood, which does help, but it's still just way too white w/ the whites on.

this is what's in the hood according to jbj's specs...all of the leds in the center grid are white (know it's hard to tell from the pic):

 • Daylight – 25 x 3 Watt – 14K
 • Dawn/Dusk – 4 x 3 Watt – Actinic/466nm
 • Moon – 2 x 1 Watt – Nite-Vu/456nm

more specs - http://www.jbjlighting.com/pdfs/Flier-28gLED.pdf

i submitted an email to jbj's support email address and just got the following response:

Hello Ben,
At this current time, we do not offer any other replacement LED strips. We will offer in the near future different color temperatures as we are still in the testing phase.

Please check with us in a few months.

sweet!

Did you ever get any information about the promised new LED strips of different colors? I have the same problem right now and just really wanted to get rid of the super bright white and have it much bluer ;-/ Please let me know! Thanks!
