Rev, I just want to say that I was floored when I saw the title of this thread. I didn't expact that in community like this. I have been struggling to get back to the Lord since I was 20. I have gone way too many wrong paths and knocked my head plenty of times trying my way. I just want to give up and let him. Please pray for me.

I just saw this thread and it made me happy to see everyone coming together to make sure everyone else is ok. Everyday I pray for my father. He is doing good now but he has lived a hard life and has many health problems. He has done so much for my mother, brother, and I. I just pray his health stays good till me and my Fiance can get married and have our first child, his first grandchild. I never really got the change to know my grandparents and I don't want my children to not know him. if is funny when you are growing up your parents are just mean and make you do stuff because they can. When you grow up and look back you relize they made you the person you are today.

This is a great thread. I dont usually stray away from non reefing subjects, but this got me and ill read and pray for all those who sincerely needs it. I myself, pray every night for my two beautiful kids... 5yrs old son and 1 yr old daughter for their health, happiness and their future in this world that does not look too promising.. =(

Throwing a prayer for my mom to get better soon. She took a spil and now is down with a seperated shoulder and a broken leg, between her hip replacement, knee replacement, and tie rod. They wanted to do surgery but they felt she was not a canidate due to health reasons
get well soon, I am hoping for a good recovery

Prayer for quick recovery of my thumb ligament which i had surgically repaired about 3 weeks ago so that i can return to work as soon as possible. I have been out since July becuase of the same accident, but only found out recently my thumb will keep me out until January.

Also pray for my wife as finances are stressing her out a great deal because we are both on disability, hers from recovery of a double masectomy. Thank you.

I would like for you all to pray for my extended family.

Yesterday, I lost one of the dearest friends I ever had. He was much younger than me...only 25 and one of the most talented musicians there was.

It's senseless and heart breaking and I have no idea what to do now except pray and try and remember the good times.

I never thought I would have to explain to my 8 and 9 year olds sons that their "Uncle" Ben was no longer going to be coming to see them. How do I explain that people do really stupid things and lose their life no matter how much you love them?

The only hope I have is that someone who is thinking of using drugs or does them now, puts them down and never touches them again because they can see the devastation that is left behind.
