On tues 25th we found out my daughter Lilliana has Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). We are here at the hospital ad have started chemo treatments. Please everyone keep her in prayers! Looks to be 2 1/2 year process with treatments but docs say the outcome is a 90% CURE rate! Lilly is now going great eating, playing, and taking her meds like a champ! I know someone who could use a lot of prayer...he doesn't know God and the poor guy's really screwed up. He's been having enough trouble with life in general and now his dad just died, leaving him with a disabled mom and some serious money troubles. I can't get into too much detail...but I want to pray that God reaches him, and that I would at the very least be a light in the darkness, as God would have me be.

Asking for prayer for two things.

1) I am traveling today from Virginia to NC, and with all the snow some places are still looking pretty rough on the roads (thankfully, most of it has been cleared away). So please pray for safe travels.
2) Tomorrow I am taking an entrance exam to get into an advanced degree program at a school in NC. The exam is MAJOR and I have been studying for the last couple of months but still feel unprepared. It's a 2 part essay exam that will last a total of 6 hours. Please pray for me as I get ready to take this test.

I lost a very close person in my life today. He had been battling ALS for a while and passed away in his sleep last night. He was a very giving ad kind person and will be very missed. He helped me through the hardest time in my life and for that I will be forever grateful. He helped a lot of people and never asked for a thing in return. Please send your prayers out to his family and everyone close to him. Thank you guys.

I am asking for prayer for a friend's family. Yesterday afternoon out on the river, he reached for a light and fell overboard. He never resurfaced. There have been divers looking for him until dark last night and all day today. The water was too muddy for the divers to see so they had to bring in sonar equipment. As of dark today, he has not yet been found. This has to be pure torture for his family and I pray they find him soon and the family finds closure and peace.

Connie, I'm still waiting on the results. They said I'll have them by the beginning of May at the latest.

I also want to tell you that I am praying for your friend's family. What a terrible tragedy! Praying for peace and comfort in this very dark time.
