Today's project: run the outlets to the other side of the tank and make it a double gang box.

Sweet sauce!

Thanks! So the plan is to build a box, to hide all my electrical stuff and controllers, that will match the stand. Since I'll have and extra stand on the side I might as well put a frag tank on it.... haha by the time my fiancé realizes it it'll be too late.

I built mine behind the tank. And all the wires are on the back too. Makes it easy to replace things. I hated my old tank because I zip tide everything and every time something has to get remove I had to undo all the zip tides.

Nice. I did think about putting it behind the tank but then I can't set up a frag tank haha

Ok! Finally done with the plumbing!!! I took a week off from the tank but now I'm back on track. I'll be cycling by the end of the week. Hopefully there will be no leaks.

Drilled the overflow and added flow accelerators

Oh wow! Thank you! I'm only about an hour away from starting the return pump then I'll add the salt
Dude! I just realized we are neighbors! I go to Fontana all the time! If you ever need help with anything, let me know.

Got the tank cycling! I'm adding salt today. I do like the surface agitation with the flow accelerator. The drain is loud but I have a Maggie Muffler somewhere in my storage. I do have to add a ball valve to one of the returns so I can get even flow through both. If I stay on schedule I'll be transferring stuff over next month.
