i was digging through the corals and found what i thought were the most brightest zoanthids ever. upon closer inspection and using my thumb to try to get the polyps to close... it had a skeleton! i immediately set it aside for purchase :)

i've never seen anything like this before. it kinda reminds me of the blasto merletti but i've never seen a color morph like this on a merlitti.

yep....blasto wellsi.........up in toronto we're in the middle of a blasto barrage...lots of stores are bringing them in these days......saw a CRAZY one last week my buddy picked up, even more brightly coloured than your pic!

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
