Some of my older acans all the sudden stop opening up as much. Testing has not helped, as all params are normal. Been almost a month now with worsening behavior.

I decided to add a new acan frag to the same area to see if it would react differently and it has. The new acan is getting the same light, flow, and parameters, but is not showing any signs of stress as the old ones.

Any idea why the older ones are being picky?

It could be something going on with your water quality that hasn't effected the newer frag yet? How long have you had the new frag?
