Good morning all. I am just returning to the reef keeping scene after a twenty year break. I am looking at a 1.5m aquarium using the old trickle filter system, but before getting started I am going to do some serious reading. I have all the Fossa and Nielsen books but was wondering if there is a more up to date book on water chemistry, as I’m sure a lot has changed. Thanks again Gary.

Welcome to R2R, and welcome back to the hobby. Is there any reason you are looking to use a trickle filter? I’ve only been in the hobby since they have been phased out so I’m not too familiar with them.
