Mullet is my preferred bait most of the time here and that definitely has a very persistent stink that sticks to everything it touches and isn't the easiest thing in the world to wash off. It's effective tho...
Old picture but im sure it tasted better than frozen fish food...

Not my tank, but... I mixed up my brs alk in my calcium container that had some calcium mix. Or the other way around, I can't remember. Anyway I could not figure out why I had this layer of white junk floating at the bottom.

Years ago, my little sister dropped some pennies in my tank. Knowing she made a mistake, she used my algae scraper to cover them up. I found them after they had corroded and I lost everything in the tank.
Years ago a mall near us (Southdale) had a pet store (Pets Unlimited) who would sponsor an aquarium show over a weekend and it became a yearly tradition until one year people starting throwing pennies in all the tanks. Sadly many tanks were lost because of the publics ignorance...

I remember one of my club members tanks was sabotaged by someone during a backyard fragswap. Couldn’t figure out why his tank was crashing until cleaning his sump he found a pair of batteries and some change tossed in a corner. :angry-face::angry-face::angry-face:
