If we have say a pair of ORCA's, 6105's for example, can they be linked up to rotate at the same settings, speed, flow pattern, and follow oscillation?

Say I put them on the back of the display glass, opposite corners, and follow the same oscillation and power settings. I see the link within the app but not sure if this is what it does or just copies network.

Unfortunately I have only used 1, I have no experience with multiple units. The first one does automatically connect any future units, but I do not believe they synchronize as it is unlikely that an aquarium would have mirrored sides and the point is to target the flow to specific corals and structures so it is unlikely that having one do the same as the other is useful in most set ups.

I didn’t get my 2nd added over the weekend as planned. I really hope they add a sync/anti-sync mode for them

Or even a Gyre mode. Where I can make two act as one in a gyre motion

Trying to add a second Orca. I plugged it in and it’s flashing blue. I have no idea how to get it to connect.

It should pick up from the 1st one. Did you open the app on your phone, select the 1st ORCA, then go to local links? The only other thing I can think of is to make sure you are on the 2.4ghz network. It does not work on 5.

As areefer01 stated, any future ORCA's automatically collect the data from the original one and pair themselves, it will automatically pull through in the app but your phone must be on the same wifi network as the original ORCA to get it to pull through, in some cases you need to log out and log back in to the app and if you set up multiple aquariums, it can be in one of the other aquariums.

So I’m trying to setup my Orca….had red flashing went through the steps, added it to the network successfully but I can’t connect (app says it’s offline)…so I deleted it….when I try to re-add it, it fails…is there a way to reset it?

Likely there is an issue with your wifi network that needs to be solved. I will send you a private message.

I figured it out. I had to go in the app and click on the wifi.

Do you get the same flow patterns with the 6105's and 6075's with the orca as the stand alone pumps do? I really like the idea of having them in sync/anti-sync too, but it would be nice to have this option for specific flow patterns and/or program lengths. Also, @rvitko when do you expect the new products (dosing pump, 7410, etc) to be released here in the States?

The pumps are different in that for now they use the HUB which has different settings and we had different capabilities, with the ORCA since the goal was generally to target specific corals and reef sections, it has different settings than pumps which cannot do that, but very soon all of them will be working on the app so the ORCA's will gain pump features like inverse mode, etc and vice versa, the pumps will pair much easier than they do now. Dosing pump is easy as it is basically an ORCA so approval is done, it should be ready in September worldwide. The Stream 3 based products are still a bit up in the air, we will get one generation ahead of what is out now for the US launch as it makes no sense to pay for FCC 2 times in a short period and we are very close to a big jump in motor efficiency, I believe we are still on target for May.

That’s great! I love my 6075’s, but I see two orca 6105’s being able to do so much more and it sounds like that’s going to happen pretty soon. Thanks!

For those who have the orca/6105 or 6075, what flow patterns are available now? Or is it just angle and flow intensity at that particular point/angle? Is there some form of pulse mode?

For rimless tanks, how far does the carbon fiber rod stick out from the glass with the shortest mounting option? I’m trying to figure out if my current lid has too small of a perimeter that will allow me to cut it out without cutting completely through it.
