I used 1inch aluminum railing. You can get that as long as you want and cut it to length. I have 2 atlantik v4's and 1 atlantik v4 compact. Good luck in your decission.

I have a 10 foot long tank 110” and I to am looking for ways to Mount my lights over my tank without having to hang them from the ceiling, I have it Mickey rigged for now ( see pic) but I still need to come up off the tank another 3 to 4 inches in height. Any ideas?? The top of my tank is not wide-open like most tanks so my mounting is going to have to be this is only a photo of half the tank I have the same set up on the other side unique

I watched a video where a guy did a custom mount. He ordered aluminum from https://8020.net/ he used 1.5" to hang 4 RX15's from one end of his peninsula style tank. The XR15's weigh less than 2 of the v4. So I looked through the site and was going to get the 40mm 80x80mm (roughly 3.25" square), found corner brackets, screws etc for doing it that way. Once I had everything in cart it was over $400.00 USD and they dont ship to the Philippines.

I contacted them for shipping to me they gave me another website to go to. There site not so friendly as 8020 to find what you need. Then after thinking about it I have a few welding shops and metal stores close to me. I will just have them build what I need. I will do the same and mount from 1 end of the tank only mine will be from metal not aluminum like the below video.

Floating lights

There is another video where the guy did similar as yours, he used 1/4" stainless steel rods similar to what you have in your picture. He also used aluminum from 8020 to hand his lights. Sorry cant find the video. You might be able to do something like the guy did in the first video, but instead of floating lights you can do a mount all the way across. Hard to tell with the picture you attached.

I replaced the hanging mounts with T-nuts on a Compact and used the Radion mounts. Used these:
