Use self tapping screws and measure evenly from the end of the ati. Use the brackets that come with the Orphek.
I may have said velcro at first, because I have had a 24" diy led ( aluminum heat sink) attached to my ati 6 x 24 watt fixture for several years with industrial velcro, but having just mounted my Reef Brite 60" XHO blue to my 8 x 80 watt ATI fixture, there is no way I'd trust a light that expensive to anything other than screws and brackets.Velcro May detach from heat and humidity at tank..... best would be straight or angled brackets that are STAINLESS STEEL
I emailed them over a month ago and they said it would be released this month.Hello All...I just found out that Orphek will be coming out with a 60" light bar...unfortunately they haven't given me a time line as to when that will be...I'll give you all a heads up when that occurs

I messaged them on Facebook yesterday and they said it was still developing.
I'm also waiting for the 60" model
I'm seriously thinking about ordering the 48" and mounting like the picture above.
I like it a lot. I have it on the same outlet as my t5 2 bulb channel. How do you like it?
Is this tank still up? I’d love to see the color of it.If you have 2 light bars it will balance out the fixture and not lean. This is how I mounted mine with no drilling or modifications to either fixture. Simple piece of aluminum flat stock available at lowes or home depot.
