Orphek fan noise

I've got a new orphek v4 that makes pretty loud fan noise only when the purple/UV channel is on. I just wondered if that was the norm for these fixtures. Otherwise I might look into the Philip's coral care I'm reading may come soon.

Not normal contact Orphek I‘m sure they will send you a new fan.

Thanks. I've sent them an email now. Very disappointing to hear it every time the UV channel kicks on. Maybe they can help me out.

Uv is one of hottest channels on fixture but should not cause noise

Thanks guys. Maybe if they send me a fan I can take it apart replace whichever one is doing it. Just thought it was maybe normal but it seems louder than before so I wanted to ask.
