Hey, i’ve been gifted a couple of 36” bars but they have no driver/power supply. Does anybody know where to get either the ones orphek uses or just a solid cheap replacement?

I believe on Amazon and Orphek also sells them

"IF" this is the old non- dimmable driver I believe there is no "exact" generic replacement but there is a Meanwell substitute. I' ve found it before ...give me a bit.
Original ...450mA

Yeah it’s the non dimmable one
Think this is the one. Only problem I believe is 500mA but you get a dimmable driver

https://www.ledsupply.com/led-drivers/mean-well-idlc-series-with-dimmingNeed to check the voltage range . It was listed at Orphek at one time.

Still there .

Meanwell is 54-90V. So it will work but need to check the low end. High end is fine.

IF one believes it's 40w then the cumulative voltage is 40/.450 = 88.9V which is obviously incorrect from Orpheks top output of 82V.
BUT Meanwells 90v should be fine.,. Would prefer a bit more headroom but won't stop it from working. If you hit the max voltage output without reaching 500mA it will just run at a lower amperage I believe.

So as far as putting it all together, should it be plug and play? Never really had to diy a solution like this.
well yea adding a cable and plug to the Meanwell...
Almost plug and play..
Had to check.. there are 24 leds on a 90.
Most of these types run about 3.6v on the blue leds. 86.4v..
So I'm confident in the Meanwell.
You do have 2 choices.. either "underpower" them from the orig. at 350mA or overpower at 500mA
Like roughly 30w or 44w.
IDLC-45-500 or IDLC -45-350
Can get "a" version for a 12v secondary output but unnecessary.

Unfortunately the dimming is only via 0-10v or 10v PWM
