I was running 2 rows of T5 and 2 rows of orphek along with 250 watt halides.

I switched to 4 rows of orphek and 175 watt halides.

My acro coloration has improved except for under the tank braces. Some of the acros under the braces have browned out due to shadowing.

I’m thinking of switching out some of the Orpheks with Reef Brite or Quanta to try and get better coverage under the brace. Would that make a difference?

So my Orpheks have a narrow lens and not enough light is getting under the braces. I have browned out acros under the left and right braces.

I remember the old BRS videos with reef brite’s spread being similar to T5 with the reflectors they use. I’m wondering if quanta bars would work the same or if I’d be better off with reefbrite XHOs.

I’m reluctant to go back to the T5 because the colors on my other acros are better with this light setup.
