After being away from reefkeeping for several years I have dove back into SPS once again. I had sold everything from my last 400g reef so starting from scratch this time. I came across an old video from 2010 my wife posted on youtube of the old 400g. Looking back I wish I still had that thing!

So about 7 years later here we are with a new 150g shallow rimless tank. The tank is 60" x 36" x 16" peninsula style low iron on three sides. I set the tank up end of April 2017 and have been adding frags ever since. The shallow depth has been tricky to dial in the lighting and flow but things are starting to come around. Hope you enjoy the video....more to come.

Sweet

Since starting to dose some KNO3 and seachem flourish phosphorus tank seems to be coming around. Had several SPS that were really struggling due to zero nitrate and phosphate. Been dosing for a couple weeks now. Growth has started again and colors are starting to come back.

what quantities are you dosing?

Tank has had its ups and downs over the last few months. I have battled a few obstacles but I can proudly say I won!
