Thinking about getting a trigger system Emerald 26 sump to replace my 20 gallon long sump I built couple years ago. My question is I have a glass holes overflow that has 1.5 inch drain and the emerald has a 1inch drain. Think I ll have a problem reducing my Plumbing from 1.5 inch to 1 inch right before the sump only flowing 200 to 300 gph

Had the same problem with my trigger ruby sump. I drilled the holes out and put my own 1.5 inch bulkheads in.

I thought about doing that but the emerald series has a chamber that the drain drains into then goes up into the filter sock. The drain chamber is a little tight for 1.5 inch pipe

Yea the pipe would fit but the bulkhead might need to be trimmed down. I tend to agree with the previous posters that 1" pipe should be sufficient though.
