Ozone..........pros and cons!

Been reading a little about ozone equipment and it tells me some good factors but really can't find any drawbacks that I should consider.
I'm sure we have some ozone reefers here, all though you don't read much about it on the forum.
Like to start up a forum discussion about this, who's first?


Good things:
•Healthier corals and increased polyp extension due to the oxidation and breakdown of corals defensive toxins
•Consistently clear water and proper light penetration due to the oxidation and breakdown of color pigments.
•Increased skimmer efficiency due to ozone causing waste particle to attract each other creating larger easier to filter particles.
•Oxidation and breakdown of fish waste and uneaten food.

Bad or negative:

I use ozone.
Waters clean and skimming is always dark.

Cons:
Is deadly!!! If u don't run it properly u will put ozone into ur house and can lead to some health problems and death.
If u run it into ur skimmer u need to put carbon into ur skimmer cup. And any air holes would have carbon as well...
