@crusso1993 i added reinforcements don’t worry. You’re looking at a silicone hair tie that I appropriated from Rachel and used like a rubber band :)

To my friend, Ferdinand;
1.) I wasn't speaking to you. The recommendation was for Stefan.
2.) I would not trust said appropiated silicone hair tie as they stretch and will dry out over time. Especially under MH lighting.
3.) I hope said appropriated silicone hair tie had not been used. Especially if Rachel, whoever she is, uses any form of hair spray or products in her hair.
4.) Even though silicone stretches over time, I certainly hope it is providing better results than that piece-o-crap silicone suction cup!
5.) It makes my day to bust your stones!

;) :p ;)

If you had gotten the replacement pumps I sent you, they would have shipped out with new elbows and tubes!

but for an idea: Autozone would be able to get you some replacement tubing, maybe the elbows too. If not there, then for sure Home Depot or Lowe’s. Ace Hardware would have everything as well, just whatever is closest/easiest for you.
Well now you tell me.

In something unrelated;

Just left Home Depot with some ceramic tile and SS screws because slate is tough to get around here this time of year. Going to make a hillbilly doohickey and drill holes through the tiles to mount a decent sized piece of driftwood with the SS screws.

Oh, I also used the hillbilly redneck doohickey water changing system that I built for the first time today. Got tired of lugging 10 - 5 gal buckets to the sink and then filling up and lugging 10 - 5 gal brackets back to the tank. Hey, maybe I'm a Chicago redneck hillbilly and didn't even know it! :oops:

Say “I had a bad dream last night, just have this feeling”

I love bad dreams and dreams most people would consider nightmares. For real.

Very nice! Planted freshwater, that’s what got me into this hobby originally :)
Also, great looking stand!

what’s the purpose of the pvc across the top in the back?

That's a redneck hillbilly return spraybar I made out of PVC. No more dead spots in the tank.

Here's a pic of the piece-o-driftwood. That's my size 14 slipper for size reference.
