Hey all, I just picked up about 10 chalice after a friend took his tank down and was wondering if yall thought 150 par was to much to start them out at. The bottom of my 120 is at around 150. That's under a tek t-5 8 bulb. I know it depends on the chalice, but a general idea would help. Thanks.

I would start them over to the side as shaded as much as possible and slowly acclimate them out. What type of lighting are they coming from?

I would say that 120 would be the max i would start them out in, I agree with REV on this one..

Sorry to get back late, but I just noticed it was answered. I start at around 100 and have moved to around 150 now. All is good so far. Thanks for the replys.
