Particles in water - HELP!

I can’t even get my videos to work so I can see why my tank looks like crap but here’s a couple pictures

I see the video. I can’t make out what the floating things look like. Are they microbubbles or particles? Did you rinse your sand prior to adding into tank?

They’re definitely not micro bubbles and no I did not rinse my sand

Give it a few weeks and your filter sock will catch them all.

I think those are microbubbles based on how they are attracted to the surface of the water.

Try adding some filter floss right before the return pump and see if that makes a difference.
