I guess a lot of the marine land tanks are failing due to lateral load , people running vortechs and wave boxes when the tank was only designed for linear flow, and a constant steam, not the random monsoons a lot of u put in out tanks these days, tank is looking great glad to see you recovered nicely....!

I just read the whole thread and was just thinking how great of a job you did!!! Until the crack... Worst fear ever for me! The bigger the tank, the more chances you have at it cracking. Remember the pounds of pressure every time you do a water change. Your tank probably cracked because it was settling on your floor. Without bracing it, will start to buckle. If you had any vibration also on the tank, then that only fead the crack to happen instantly like that.

did you level the tank?that's the only reason I can think off when it crack like that. Most of the time the leak is at the corner of the seam with bad silicon.
The tank was level, I believe the floor eventually settled and caused it, I went under the house and supported the struts. Been up for several months now and everything's fine I hope.

Inside the drains look like these, except in the first image the middle drain is replaced by the drain you see in the second photo. Hopefully you can get an idea from that, a top down photo really doesn't show much, and that's all I'd be able to take a picture of currently.

Thanks for the compliment though!

Just read through your thread and wow what a journey of ups and down with the ending on an upswing!
A gorgeous tank my friend. I'm at a 65 currently and looking to build up to a 120 shorty.. 48,24,24... That's what you have right?.

Thanks for documenting your journey and sharing your knowledge. I feel smarter now. Lol.

Go noles!

Also picked up quite a few nice acro's recently

A large mariculture colony that looks sweet, still coloring up
And and 10 more unnamed acro frags

Great looking tank!! I can't seem to get my pink lemonade to grow. How high do you have it in your tank?

Thanks guys! Always appreciate the support!

In other news, I added 10 royal blue and 8 UV Led's to my current fixture, ordered the Jebao DP-2 dosing pump which should be here later this week, and plan on ordering the bluefish lighting controller so I can control my lights through my phone and have more control over my lighting schedule since my current layout is a bit dated. Lots of fun stuff!
