At this point it is obviously getting worse. Scratching head. Would love some samples to look at under the microscope.
1. parasites
2. growth/cancer/wart
3. viral/bacterial infection.

unfortunately, there is so much left to be learned about diseases in fish.

No I haven't.. thinking of doing this weekend.. just trying to rule out ich

I do not believe it is ich
You need to start going through the different treatments in hopes of hitting on what will slow this down. Otherwise, not sure you will have a positive outcome.

The worst thing you can do is nothing.

I don't think it's ich either. I think a freshwater dip should be the first stop though. I'm betting these things will fall off during the dip. I could be wrong though, so post up the results.

I second everyone opinion about it not being ich. I've had plenty fish with ich and this is definitely not it.

Have you tried treating with Kanaplex + Metroplex? Adding Furan-2 to the mix might help as well.
