The most personable fish I have ever kept is either a triggerfish or a hoard of different variety of wrasses. Both come up to you when they want to eat. Which was all the time.

However, guests will always find eels the main attraction of the tank. Before getting my Japanese Dragon eel, people would be interested in my tank. For like 5 minutes. Smh.
Now that I have a Dragon eel, it's more like 6 now.

If I had to keep one trigger and I had a budget, Red Sea Niger Triggers are the way to go. They are pretty much purple niger triggerfish with pink streamer tails.

I used to have one that comes up to me when I approach the tank.

Hawkfish Either the long nose or the flame, both have some great personality. My longnose follows me Around the tank when ever I come near it.

Get rid of the 6 line and it will open up your options.

Blue spotted jawfish. Tons and tons of personality. Read online and you will see

Yes, but blue spotted jawfish are generally a poor choice for reefs since they tend to do best long term in temps that are cooler than most reefs. Also blue spotted jawfish hide a lot and are pretty pricey.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
