I just came home to a fresh batch of Grindal Worms on my front porch! Thank you so much for helping!

Be patient with feeding too much of them right away and split them off into a larger culture or two asap. If you give them a week or so to get going you can start feeding them daily shortly thereafter... Good luck!

I'm in awe of all the support I have here

If you are “gifted” a tank or someone does a go fund me make sure to post a list of equipment you might need. I know I have some good stuff laying around that I’m not using.

When it comes time for the second prazi dose, try to time it for ~ 10-12 hours before a scheduled water change if possible. Mixing Prazi with antibiotics can be really hard on the oxygen content in the water, so want to only run it for as long as absolutely needed.
When I do the second dose would it be a good idea to add pure o2 to the tank?

The yellow tang is looking so much better! Is the redness under his eye a sign of infection?

Hm, I’ve always just added an extra air stone or two and made sure the powerhead was breaking the surface pretty well.

I’m not sure it would hurt anything, but I think constant agitation will be more beneficial than an oxygen injection.

Hm, could be... but how’s ammonia/salinity holding up? Yellow tangs can get red marks like that from salinity shifts and ammonia exposure as well

+1 on ammonia but I’ve also seen similar from sensitivity to copper with some YT. What is the copper at?

The ammonia hasn't registered on the alert badge once and the salinity is rock solid as I am constantly topping off the tank. I probably top off these hospital tanks more often than my ato runs in my dt lol. I haven't started copper yet, the Hanna checker wasn't supposed to get here until Monday but it just arrived today

He did have flukes so it’s possible... is it just one side or both?

What’s the salinity at now? I know you had it a little lower for the first night

I only got it down to 1.023 the first night and slowly took it back up (just a tiny bit over the last 5 days with water changes) to just a hair under 1.025. I took it back up because I only have one saltwater holding tank and I need to do a wc on my dt Saturday. I didn't want a salinity swing in my dt so I wanted everything to be the same
