Ph question

Been fighting with my Alk for the past week and finally have it stable at 9 but it seems my ph always drops to around 7.9 in the mornign and will get to 8.2 in the afternoon.Is that normal Do I really need to worry about keeping it level al the time. My other Para are

Nitrate 0
Phos .03
Mag 1400
Cal 500 Not sure why its way up there I dont dose cal.
Alk 9.1
Ph 7.9

All tested 10 minutes ago

Should i not worry about PH

Just from my experience my tanks always seemed like they stabilized around 7.8 or 7.9 in my little tank and everything was happy. I do know it will change through out the day. If you are still having issues with ph you can try "Balance" it's supposed to raise ph without raising kh. I know the more experienced folk will chime in.

I would not worry about chasing PH as long as CA/Alk/Mag are in check. My PH swings from 7.9 into the 8.1 range as well with no issues at all.

A swing such as yours from morning to evening is totally normal. I agree with not chasing your Ph :)
