anyone know how high off of the water i should keep my pheonix 150 off of the water in my biocube 29g i am having problems with some of my corals not opening up and am trying to figure out what the issue may be (mixed reef )

I ran my 150 mh on nc24 about 4 inches. Sps did great on top and sorties mixed on bottom and top.

I have a 250 watt mh over my 29 and it's about 8 inches above the water

wow! mine was about 15in from the water surface i guess ill lower it a little. sat to about six inches or so how fast should i lower it so not to harm my corals
