I do beleave seachem flourish phosphorus does add phosphorus as a chemical and not ppm solid.

It is dissolved phosphate ion in water.

If you need to dose phosphate, I recommend food grade sodium phosphate. It’s cheaper, has a purity guarantee, and can be made at most any concentration you want.

I have been using my Hanna phosphorus ULR for many years, from back when they first came out. I find my checker to be precise and repeatable, matching very well with values reported in the occasional ICP. I don’t have experience with Mastertronic but since they both measure phosphate I think it would be good to calibrate to see which one to trust
