Thanks for the info. I’ll keep testing my phosphate an see if it keeps rising in the water column. Please do not dose seachem flourish unless you know what you are doing.

If you need to dose phosphate, I recommend food grade sodium phosphate. It’s cheaper, has a purity guarantee, and can be made at most any concentration you want.

I have been using my Hanna phosphorus ULR for many years, from back when they first came out. I find my checker to be precise and repeatable, matching very well with values reported in the occasional ICP. I don’t have experience with Mastertronic but since they both measure phosphate I think it would be good to calibrate to see which one to trust
