I just tested my phosphate with hanna checker and it’s reading 0.06. I was told that I should be kept below .05 and if it higher it can stop sps from building/ using cal. Also was told it was fine. Any information would be greatly appreciated

Keep in mind thar the 0.06 ppm is not precise. The Hanna Checker fact sheet gives you the +/- range for your Checker. You will probably discover that keeping the level below 0.1 ppm is good enough.

As others have said that is just fine. Don't listen to anyone who says the sky starts falling when it goes above .05. .03 is fine. .06 is fine. I try to keep mine around .1.......and that's fine too.

That’s what I was thinking.
