Photon or Ocean Revive?

Can someone please educate me? Are the 80cm photons and Ocean Revive it2080 the same light?

From my limited knowledge. Almost the same. Difference in the color leds. I went with the Photon because of the great reviews. Plus the group buy.

Thanks for the replys. I shall have to do some serious googling on the subtle differences between Evergrow, Reefbreeders and Ocean Revive, they seem like the same light to me.

Oh and also reefbreeders also comes with a 2 year warranty as opposed to a 1 year with ocean revive if that makes a difference for you

not yet almost there though :) i'm setting up a 40g breeder i ordered marco rocks should come in on wednesday. i'm more than halfway to get it going.

we should definitely swap some corals once we get our tanks nice and mature.

Definitely!! I'm also waiting for my rocks too, went with reefcleaners though.

I went with the photon because of the 2 year warrantee. Also, the standard 90 degree photon has 120 degree optics on the red and moon lights which helps to prevent a strobe effect and disperses the light better since these two colors are far apart.
