Been trying to dial in my RB Photons to be sure my clams have enough without toasting my SPS. I think I may have stumbled on why I've bleached a few frags out, but wanted to check for a second opinion, because it seems these things rival MH for output.
The lights (2x 32" Photon V2) are mounted about 12" above the waterline. Using my Seneye monitor, I took these measurements. Note that 'top' means about 1" below the waterline, 'middle' is on top of my rock work which is about half way down the water column, and 'bottom' is on the sand bed.

Does this sound right to you, or do I just have a wonky Seneye meter?
