32” Exotic Marine Systems Overflow box
vs
48” Module Marine

The tank will be a 72” long (220g + tank).

I love the look of EMS but I wish it was longer.
I love the length of the Module Marine but it’s not as “sleek” looking (and maybe harder to clean)

What would you pick? For esthetics or functionality?

I would contact Exotic marine and have him make you one to the exact length you need. He only limits the length on the stock ones to save shipping costs. He can make them longer if you want to pay the shipping. @TaylorPilot make a really nice box.

I did. He doesn’t anymore. So I settled for the 32”. It will cover 50% length of tank for surface skimming. I think that’s good (?).

I have the exotic marine overflow on my 210G and live it! It’s super quiet and moves a ton of water and takes up almost no space

I will also say, that I had modular marine custom make me a couple ATO reservoirs and they are great build quality as well. So either company you will likely be happy.
