Pink growth on my tanks caulking

Hello, can anyone help me identify this pink build up. It has just started 2 days ago. I recently installed a new canister filter but also I did feed a bunch of artemia this week. I just want to fix it before it gets out of hand. I also am having troubles feeding with the new high flow canister so probably high nutrients as I am not sure how much my fish are actually eating. Any advice is appreciated

Looks like... pink slime (no idea beyond that). Could be related to the canister filter, yes.
