PistolPerry's Infinia 190.5 Build

Hey all, starting up a build thread for my new tank. Took advantage of the blue Friday sales over at waterbox and picked up a Infinia 190.5.

So far I have managed to get the stand put together and wrangled a group of friends to pull the tank from my garage to its space. Had an electrician come in and install an additional GFCI outlet. It's nice to finally have it in the space and I'm looking forward to filling it up and cycling soon. Will be working on the aquascape this weekend and hopefully I'll have more to show off soon.

Been trying to get a few things up second hand to save on a bit of cost for the tank. Equipment so far is:

Vectra M2
Aqua UV 25w Sterilizer
Aquavitro 250 Skimmer

Hoping to have this be a mixed tank with primarily SPS will figure out the lighting situation once I have the tank cycled and well established.

Got everything all plumbed up and aquascaped this weekend. Left a bit of space for some grow out but overall I am happy with it. Next steps filling it up and cycling!

A few updates for today:

All filled up and cycling, added a bit of rock from another tank to speed things up. Seeing nitrates already but letting things settle a bit before starting to slowly add in some fish. My lovely secret Santa helped with media bricks I'm very thankful for.

Light wise I picked up two hydra 32's on the market place and moved a blade along with them. Plan on getting more but moving slow as I probably won't add many corals until it matures a little bit.

Flow wise just using a Vectra M2 I got off marketplace and two hydor koralia's to keep a little bit of flow going. Plan on looking for some Vortech MP40s when I can.

Other notes: Plumped in a UV sterilizer I don't have it running at the moment though. Also have a skimmer not active yet but ready when I start pumping nutrients in.
Did not want to fiddle with filter socks so I opted to 3d print some cups and use floss which is working out pretty well.

Doing good overall and will provide more updates soon! Thanks to all members who have helped me with some equipment off the marketplace!
