I’m picking up my first torch and I know they can be a little picky, more so than hammers and frogspawn. My question is, which of the three should I place it at in my tank? Either the bottom onesor on the arch? The arch is higher so maybe it wouldn’t like the high light but one of the ground spots is near a frogspawn and I know torches don’t play well with them. Currently my tank is a Biocube 32 and I’ll be setting up a Radion g4 pro xr-15 within a week running AB+ at 30% for LPS/ softies.

Can’t tell much with photos because flow is the biggest consideration. Place in mid to low area in tank. They like indirect random flow. I have seen some handle lots of flow, but mine have always preferred medium indirect.

I would think the first two spots are the better ones to start with. Keep in mind their sting can irritate other euphyllia.

Are you using the stock pump on the biocube or do you have any extra powerheads (trying to figure out your flow)?

My flow is about 17 times turnover. Using an upgraded pump and a jebao ow-10 on the 3rd to lowest speed.
