Please help , Chocolate tang skin issues

Hello reefers I just moved my 75gal tank yesterday and when I woke up my tang was like this , there is no new fish or new water , substrate or rock . I didn’t add anything. At first I thought maybe since it was a new aquascape he tried a new spot and got stuck . I’ve never really had issues with infections or fish issues in general. None of my other fish are experiencing any issues and are healthy

. Any advice or treatments would be greatly appreciated

The caudal fin does look like some sort of mechanical damage. The most common cause of that is tankmate aggression - you said no new fish in the tank, but what other fish have been with this one? Dynamics between fish sometimes do change.

The lesion on the fish's side is a general bacterial infection. These also often start with some mechanical damage, but then can spread onto healthy skin. Is there any similar spot on the other side of the fish?

You will likely need to isolate this fish. Treatment with a broad spectrum, gram negative antibiotic would be warranted, but I see you are in Scotland, and you may not be able to acquire those for fish use.

I see aggression in addition to what was mentioned by Jay and in your region, you can use Waterlife Myxazin. If none, other option which will work slower is NT labs Acriflavin
