Hey guys just wondering if you could help me identify what kind of algae this is. Tank is relatively new, started in Early October. It's been steadily growing since about two weeks since I got the tank running

Red cyano bacteria

It is a natural course for a new tank

Thank you! Should I try and manually remove it or just let it run its course?

You can siphon it but personally I would let it die off on its own.
Now if it gets to unsightly for you then yes you can remove it.
