Okay, here is mine. Finally in the tank;Happy! No water yet. Might be a few changes if I add some live rock. Not clear on if live rock needs to go into the display or just the sump to be beneficial, esp. the coraline algae. Here are pics. Didn't leave a lot of room in front of overflows as I won't be needing to keep those scraped. Will test a couple things in case algae gets bad like the algae scrappers or kitchen scrubbers with a long handle. Think I achieved lots of terraces and coral placement as well as needs for fish. Back glass and sides and front are accessible with siphon tube. There are 2 "foot caps", one on each side I may remove to have more open sand.

First of all great thread, definitely have gave me great ideas when i restart my tank.
Had a question for you all though what would you use to hold your rock scape when scaping with Wet Live rock? drilling rods or cement bonding?

Most of my rock scape is just wedged together. A few key pieces are cemented but mostly I wedge them and arrange them with no wobble. After having to tear one tank apart to get fish out in order qt due to marine velvet, I don't cement more than 2 pcs together so I can remove if needed. You can use the gel super glue, frag epoxy (esp with super glue on each side. I imagine the rock cement would work but you'd have to have rocks out of water for a while to set I think. I haven't done the drilling with rods.

Susan it turned out so good! Im jealous. You utilized all your space. The ratio negative to positive is great. The design is interesting, but not to drastic, so the viewers eyes will more easily travel around the tank. :D

I think your approach to gluing etc is really logical.

Just set mine up in the last week. Not sure what direction I’m going yet, but I like height and depth. Mostly 20lbs pieces stacked and bridged. Bought 250 lbs of rock and added maybe 150lbs of that... not bad for a newbie!
