I am a wildland firefighter and I have fought many devastating fires in Cali and many other states. It definitely hits the heart to see or hear that someone has lost everything in any disaster. My thoughts and prayers go out to Cheryl and her family.

Sad to hear and I am sorry for the loss.

With that said, home insurance should cover all remodel and hotel/living accommodations unless there was no home insurance (which most lenders would give a notice of eviction if not insured). Just a little puzzled as I have family that was severely effected by the fires as well. Memories were lost but now they will get a brand new home from the ground up (reef tank included IF they were in the Hobby). If the member was not insured, pls remove section.
